Authorities close in on Schumacher medical record thief

Authorities are on the cusp of tracking down the thief who stole  Michael Schumacher's medical records. On Monday, the French newspaper Le Dauphine Libere claims investigators have tracked the internet IP address of whoever sent by email an offer to media agencies to sell the information about Schumacher's health for 50,000. The IP address is reportedly linked to a Swiss helicopter company. Although Schumacher was transferred by road between Grenoble and Lausanne recently, the hospital initially contacted a Swiss helicopter company. The company was apparently sent medical information about Schumacher that would have aided the potential helicopter transfer.
