Bianchi ends Silverstone test on top for Ferrari

Jules Bianchi finished the second and final day of the post-British Grand Prix test at Silverstone fastest for Ferrari. Bianchi, standing in for the rested Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari, set the pace on Wednesday, posting a best lap of 1:35.262, on what was his first day at the wheel of the Scuderia’s F14 T car. The eighth-hour session, which was punctuated by five red flags, was ended prematurely after Giedo van der Garde crashed heavily in sector two. Daniil Kvyat ended the day second for Toro Rosso, just under three tenths of a second shy of the Frenchman, with Kevin Magnussen, who completed the most laps of anybody with 91, was third for McLaren.
