Hamilton notes really positive changes

Lewis Hamilton said Mercedes has been able to make some “really positive” changes during testing at Silverstone. Taking over from team-mate Nico Rosberg on Wednesday, Hamilton set the fifth fastest time having been limited to just five laps in the morning after he spun off at Stowe. In getting in some more consistent running in the afternoon following that error, Hamilton said he had been able to work on some changes within the car which have left him feeling optimistic ahead of next weekend's German Grand Prix. “It wasn't an easy day today; we had great weather but unfortunately had some problems at the start of the day which meant we lost some track time,” Hamilton said. “The...
