German GP organisers rue World Cup discount

Organisers of the German Grand Prix are regretting a marketing decision which has seen hundreds of fans taking advantage of a €77 (£61) discount on some last-minute tickets. The race organisers at Hockenheim promised to apply an €11 (£8.70) discount for every goal scored by the German football team against Brazil on Tuesday. The team went on to score a record breaking seven goals, resulting in a massive discount of €77 on selected tickets for the race in just over a week.
