Hakkinen: Kimi retirement talk not smart

Mika Hakkinen believes Kimi Raikkonen's decision to announce publicly that he is likely to retire after 2015 was not a "very smart" move. Just a few years after returning to F1 following a two-year sabbatical, Raikkonen revealed earlier this month that he will "probably" walk away from the sport when his Ferrari contract runs out at the end of next season. His fellow Finn Hakkinen feels he may have shot himself in the foot. "Everyone does what they think is right, but in my opinion it was tactically not very smart," he wrote in his latest blog for Hermes.
