FIFA red cards Rosberg's World Cup helmet for German GP

The governing body of football played spoilsport disallowing Nico Rosberg to celebrate Germany’s success in the recently-concluded World Cup at this weekend’s German Grand Prix. The championship leader, who was jokingly questioned about his nationality by teammate Lewis Hamilton, intended to sport a special edition helmet for his home race in tribute to the efforts of the German national team in Brazil. But FIFA raised objections with the 29-year-old depicting the trophy on the helmet at Hockenheim claiming an infringement of its intellectual property rights as per its strict guidelines that seek to protect its brand.
