All teams drop FRIC in Germany

The FIA has confirmed that no team is running a front to rear linked suspension at the German Grand Prix. After Charlie Whiting issued a technical directive over Front and Rear Interconnected (FRIC) suspension systems, a number of teams confirmed they would not be running such a system this weekend. However, Sauber and Caterham would not reveal their plans on Thursday. Any team running a FRIC system would have been vulnerable to a protest as Whiting had informed that the FIA believed them to be illegal. However, FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer confirmed in his post-scrutineering report on Thursday evening that all teams had removed FRIC....
