Lotus confirms Maldonado for 2015 season
Pastor Maldonado will race for Lotus next year extending his stay with the Enstone-based team for a second successive season. The Venezuelan driver, heavily backed by sponsor PDVSA, joined Lotus this season after he left Williams following his two years with the British team. The future of both Lotus drivers, including Romain Grosjean, had been under speculation recently but team principal Gerard Lopez revealed that there’ll be at least some continuity next year. “I don’t want to give too much away, but as it’s half way through the season I can confirm 50 percent of our driver line-up for 2015 as Pastor is with us for next year,” Lopez said. “Despite the...
