Grosjean, Maldonado pin hopes on wet race

Lotus F1 duo Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado are hoping the rain forecast for race day at Hockenheim will come to their aid after struggling for performance once more in qualifying for the German Grand Prix. Having struggled for form throughout the 2014 season, the team's ongoing issues were compounded further ahead of the German race by the banning of the FRIC (Front and Rear interconnected suspension), which both drivers suggest has been a greater detriment to Lotus this weekend since it has been using the system longer than its rivals.
