Bottas: Engineers key in Hamilton battle

– Valtteri Bottas has paid tribute to his engineers for their assistance amid his late German Grand Prix battle with Lewis Hamilton.The Williams driver held his Mercedes rival at bay in the closing stages of Sunday afternoon's race at Hockenheim to finish second, marking his third successive podium finish.But although his own efforts behind the wheel were important, Bottas says his team must be thanked for the part they played by providing information and optimal settings."I knew it would be close at the end and he was riding on my tail the last few laps," Bottas explained."For me it was important to get a good exit for the DRS straights, out of Turn 1 and Turn 3, and...
