Giovesi joins Caterham driver programme

– Kevin Giovesi has become the second member of Caterham's new driver development programme.The 20-year-old Italian, who is contesting his second season of AutoGP and lies fourth in the standings with two rounds remaining, joins the already confirmed Nathanaël Berthon, currently competing in the GP2 Series.His previous honours include the Formula Lista Junior (2009) and European F3 Open Copa Class (2012) titles.Caterham says the idea behind the scheme is to "give up-and-coming racing drivers the opportunity to embed themselves in the squad's on and off-track operations, helping to prepare them fully for the step up to F1".
