Mexican GP to return to the FI calendar in 2015

Mexico will host a Formula One race next season and is set to remain on the calendar for the next five years in a deal that was announced on Wednesday. Last held in 1992, the Mexican Grand Prix makes a comeback after a 23-year absence and will be held in capital Mexico City at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit, which last hosted the race won by Williams’ Nigel Mansell. The 4.4-kilometre track is likely to be revamped according to FIA specifications, which could see alterations made to the final sweeping parabolic corner.
