Pirelli reveals next tyre compounds

Pirelli Motorsport Media Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed the tyre compounds which will be used at the three races which follow the Summer break. The yellow Soft tyre and white Medium tyre will be taken to next month's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps. The two hardest compounds, the white Medium and orange Hard tyres, will be used at Pirelli's home race in Italy. This is to 'combat the high-energy loads that are put through the tyres as the result of high traction and braking demands, sustained high speeds and frequently warm temperatures', said Pirelli.
