Hamilton keen for Mercedes extension

Lewis Hamilton says he has told Mercedes he would like to open negotiations over a contract extension with the team. Nico Rosberg was confirmed as signing a new multi-year contract ahead of last week's German Grand Prix, with his original deal having been set to expire at the end of this season. Hamilton's contract runs until the end of 2015, but he says he is ready to begin talks over a deal beyond that point.
