Mercedes and brake supplier Brembo have said that they are still unsure as to what caused the front-right brake disc failure that led to Lewis Hamilton’s heavy qualifying crash in Germany.The two companies, who have been working hand-in-hand to analyse and identify the causes of the failure, say that investigations are ongoing.“There is currently no clear evidence of a single cause of failure and our continuing rigorous analysis will take into account multiple factors which could have contributed to the incident,” a joint statement read. “The results of this technical analysis will be communicated as soon as they are available.”Ahead of the race in Hockenheim,...
