Hamilton: So slow it’s boring

Lewis Hamilton says he had to drive so slowly in order to look after his tyres during practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix that it was “a bit boring”. The Hungaroring circuit traditionally sees a large amount of track evolution from FP1 through to the race, with the track often dusty at the start of the weekend and therefore low on grip. Hamilton said the lack of grip had been particularly noticeable during Friday practice and hopes that it will improve significantly by the time of the race. “The tyres don't feel very good here,” Hamilton said. “There was very, very poor grip out there today.
