Ferrari boss accepts Lauda apology

Marco Mattiacci has confirmed that Niki Lauda visited the Ferrari pits in Hungary to apologise for his "s**t" comment. The Mercedes non-executive director laid into both Ferrari and McLaren, labelling both their 2014 cars "s**t". He added that Mercedes should not be penalised just because "others are stupid." Lauda later apologised via the media and on Friday visited the Ferrari garage at the Hungaroring to deliver his apology in person. Ferrari team principal Mattiacci says it is all now in the past.
