Hamilton braced for higher deficit as luck deserts again

For the second straight race, Lewis Hamilton will start from the back of the grid after lady luck left his embrace to put a fiery end to his qualifying. During Q1 for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday, the Briton’s Mercedes caught fire five minutes into the session forcing him to abandon his car and leave his teammate and championship leader Nico Rosberg unchallenged in the battle for pole position. While the German starts from the front, Hamilton will start from the back further denting his hopes in the fight for the title.
