Bottas confident of beating Alonso and Ricciardo in championship

Sutton Images Enlarge Valtteri Bottas has set his sights on third place in the drivers' championship after his recent run of good form continued in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday. Bottas qualified third at the Hungaroring off the back of three podiums at the last three races. Bottas is currently fifth in the standings on 91 points, but believes he has the car to move ahead of Fernando Alonso (97 points) and Daniel Ricciardo (106 points) to become best of the rest behind Mercedes at the end of the year.
