Vandoorne takes victory in Hungary sprint race

Sutton Images Enlarge Stoffel Vandoorne won the GP2 sprint race at the Hungaroring from second on the grid, taking victory ahead of series leader Jolyon Palmer and Felipe Nasr in third. Vandoorne started from second on the grid but got a good launch to get ahead of Nathanael Berthon on the run down to the first corner. From third Nasr also managed to get past Berthon into Turn 1, while Palmer made progress in the opening laps to get ahead of Daniel Abt before also passing Berthon.
