Ericsson “okay” after 20G crash at the Hungaroring
Marcus Ericsson is “okay” after being checked over at the Hungaroring medical centre following his heavy crash at turn three during the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Swedish rookie lost control of his Caterham CT05 at the exit of the corner and spun into the barrier.
The impact with the wall registered at 20G. After returning to the paddock, he was checked over at the medical centre but was uninjured.
The team confirmed the news on Twitter, saying:
Meanwhile, @Ericsson_Marcus is back with us and fine. He had a 20g impact….
