Alonso: We took our chances

Fernando Alonso was very "proud" having claimed a "surprise" podium result at the Hungarian Grand Prix. With four laps remaining in Sunday's 70-lap wet/dry race at the Hungaroring, the Ferrari driver was leading just ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo. Ricciardo, though, had the better pace on his fresher tyres and past Hamilton before taking the lead from Alonso a lap later. The Spaniard held on to second place ahead of Hamilton and the charging Nico Rosberg. It was only his second top-three result of this season with Alonso conceding it was a surprise result.
