Perez: Error led to shunt

Sutton Images Enlarge Sergio Perez concedes he should have been less punchy with the throttle through the final corner after his accident which triggered the second safety car period of the Hungarian Grand Prix. On lap 23 Perez was running in eighth when he lost his car coming through the final corner, sliding across the track and into the wall in a nasty-looking shunt. The track had dried out from the pre-race shower which meant the field started on intermediates but Perez admits he had been pushing too hard. "It was really difficult, the track conditions were really difficult out there," Perez said. "You are always trying to explore the limits on a track like this....
