Axed Caterham staff to commence legal action against team

+ Former Caterham staff who were axed following the recent takeover of the F1 team are set to commence legal action against the organisation and its new owners. The Caterham F1 Team was sold by Tony Fernandes to a group of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors earlier this month, who in an effort to streamline costs, cut more than 40 staff ahead of the German Grand Prix, including senior figures such as head of track operations Gerry Hughes, deputy technical director Jody Eggington and team manager Graham Watson.
