Singapore to host F1 Masters

This year's Singapore Grand Prix will feature F1 Masters on the race programme for the first time. The FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship and Masters HGP will combine to showcase a grid of Formula One cars from 1966 – 1985 for an F1 Masters race, taking place over the grand prix weekend of September 19-21. Ron Maydon, the President and Founder of Masters, said it was important to be able to take historic cars to modern F1 venues. “We will bring 20 of the most iconic North American and European cars from Formula One history,” Maydon said. “It will be the first time that the motor-racing fans in Singapore will see such classic cars race in action.
