Symonds: Williams have third fastest car

Williams' chief technical officer Pat Symonds believes the team has developed the third fastest car this season. Willliams slipped back behind Ferrari to fourth in the Constructors' Championship following the Hungarian Grand Prix recently, and now trails the Scuderia by 7 points, 135 versus 142. The Grove squad, however, has taken three successive podiums this season – with Valtteri Bottas third in Austria, and second in Britain and Germany. In contrast, prior to Hungary, Ferrari had only managed one rostrum, although Fernando Alonso did of course make it two after finishing second in Budapest.
