Di Montezemolo dismisses Alonso rumours

Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has rubbished rumours that Fernando Alonso wants $50 million a year or he will walk away from Ferrari. In the midst of yet another disappointing season for the Scuderia, rumours about Alonso's future are running rampant. According to some the double World Champion will leave Ferrari at the end of this season to return to McLaren while others state he has given the team's an ultimatum - $50 million a year or he is leaving. The Spaniard, who has thrice finished runner-up in the Championship while racing for Ferrari, has already denied the rumours while di Montezemolo has now added his voice.
