From the wreaths, garlands, sashes and beauty queens of yore to the choreographed corporate parade of suits and platitudes we see today, the Formula One podium has changed beyond all recognition over the years. Anthems and champagne aside, one enduring trait is the occasional propensity for the unexpected.
