Vergne ‘working for 2015’

Jean-Eric Vergne is determined to remain in F1 next season, having seen his seat at Toro Rosso handed to teen sensation Max Verstappen. The young Dutchman was confirmed as team-mate to Daniil Kvyat late on Monday night, leaving Vergne out in the cold after three seasons in the top flight. Having seen former STR partner Daniel Ricciardo promoted to the Red Bull Racing line-up – and winning races in 2014 – it is a particular blow for the Vergne, who matched up well to the Australian in their time together, but he insists that he is not done with F1. “Toro Rosso is a good school.
