Hamilton encouraged by improvement

Lewis Hamilton said he was encouraged by the improvements he made between FP1 and FP2 after setting the fastest time of second practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. Nico Rosberg was less than 0.1s quicker than Hamilton during the first session, but Hamilton responded to go 0.6s clear of his team-mate in the afternoon. While he admitted it had not been an ideal start, Hamilton said there was clear progress but is wary of changing conditions on Saturday which will make qualifying difficult. “It's great to be back in the car and it was feeling good out there today,” Hamilton said. “The morning wasn't as strong, but it definitely improved in the afternoon.
