Series of setbacks for Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen said he suffered “a series of setbacks” during Friday practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. Although Raikkonen was fifth fastest in FP1, he revealed that a brake problem had hampered his running. With an electrical problem also hitting Raikkonen in the afternoon session he conceded Ferrari had not been able to complete all of its schedule and will be left with additional work to carry out during FP3. “A difficult day, complicated by a series of setbacks which cost us valuable track time,” Raikkonen said. “In the morning, I had a brake problem, but once it was sorted, we were able to get through our planned programme for the first session. “The new components we...
