Bianchi delighted with 16th on the grid in Belgium

+ Jules Bianchi was delighted with his performance during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix after he hauled his Marussia into the second part of qualifying for the third time this year. The Frenchman took advantage of the wet opening part of qualifying to go 14th fastest, proceeding through to Q2 – where he finished 16th – at the expense of Lotus’ Pastor Maldonado, the third time he has achieved the feat in 2014, after similar performances at the British and Hungarian Grands Prix. “It has been a really nice day for us,” Bianchi told Richland F1. “Difficult, tricky conditions, but in the end we finished in Q2, so that is really good. “It was nice to drive, really...
