Fast-starting Nasr wins GP2 Sprint Race
Felipe Nasr won the sprint race at the Belgian Grand Prix after taking the lead at the first corner and holding off a charge from Johnny Cecotto in second place. GP2 championship standings 1. Jolyon Palmer 210 pts 2. Felipe Nasr 178 pts 3. Stoffel Vandoorne 135 pts 4. Johnny Cecotto Jr 127 pts 5.Stefano Coletti 98 pts Nasr made a lightning-quick start from fifth on the grid to place his car on the apex at La Source and beat Daniel Abt, who had started from pole, on the exit. Jolyon Palmer latched on to the rear of Abt through Eau Rouge and along the Kemmel Straight, only to outbrake himself and run wide, slowing Abt in the process as he rejoined the track.
