2014 Belgian Grand Prix starting grid

+ Nico Rosberg will start Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix from pole position after he edged his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who was struggling with a glazed left-front brake, to the top spot by just two tenths of a second. It is the German’s seventh pole of the year, while Hamilton’s pole drought now stretches back to the Spanish Grand Prix. Last year’s winner Sebastian Vettel will start third, with Fernando Alonso alongside in fourth, the first of the Ferrari cars. Vettel’s team-mate Daniel Ricciardo is next up in fifth, and will be joined on the third row by Williams’ Valtteri Bottas.
