Fernando Alonso has played down Daniel Ricciardo's chances of winning the Championship, insisting Mercedes' advantage remains too big. Ricciardo made the most of the in-fighting at Mercedes at Spa over the weekend, claiming his third win of the season to reduce Nico Rosberg's lead in the Drivers' standings to 64 points.
