Rosberg disciplined by Mercedes
Nico Rosberg has been disciplined by Mercedes after he "acknowledged his responsibility for the contact" with Lewis Hamilton in Spa, but the drivers remain free to race. Both Rosberg and Hamilton were present in a meeting with team bosses Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe at Mercedes' F1 team headquarters in Brackley on Friday to discuss the fallout from the Belgian Grand Prix. "During this meeting, Nico acknowledged his responsibility for the contact that occurred on lap two of the Belgian Grand Prix and apologised for this error of judgement," A Mercedes statement read.
