Ex-Caterham staff begin legal proceedings

+ 38 former Caterham F1 Team staff have started legal proceedings against the Leafield-based outfit's new owners for unlawful dismissal. The group announced their intention to take legal action at the end of July and have now issued employment Tribunal Proceedings. A statement released on the groups behalf confirmed that legal proceedings have begun and rubbished claims from the Caterham that the staff had been paid for their work in July. '38 former staff have today issued employment Tribunal Proceedings against Caterham in light of its failure to settle claims following their unlawful axing by new owners back in July,' it read.
