Alonso To Stay With Ferrari As Mattiacci Targets Brawn

Fernando Alonso has reaffirmed his support for Scuderia Ferrari and announced that he will be staying with the Italian team despite an clause in his contract which would enable him to leave. There has been much speculation around Alonso and McLaren in recent weeks with a suggestion that he could return to the Woking-based team that he last raced for in 2007, but speaking to Sky Sports News the Spaniard said 'It's not my intention at the moment to move, I want to win here and finish the job that we start some years ago,' “There has been a lot of talk since last summer but from my mouth there never came any interest to leave Ferrari or any words saying l would join another team.
