Haas Formula changes name ahead of F1 debut

Sutton Images Enlarge Gene Haas has changed the name of his planned F1 team ahead of its arrival on the grid for the 2016 season. When his team was granted entry to F1 in April, the American confirmed his team would be known as Haas Formula for its inaugural season. It has been referred to as such since then but now, in order to reap the promotional benefits of its entry into the sport it will now be officially known as Haas F1 Team. Speaking about the change, Haas said: "Haas F1 Team automatically conveys our place among the pinnacle of motorsports.
