Hamilton hoping to change Singapore fortune

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton says he is hopeful of reversing his fortune at next weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The British racer won at the venue in 2009 but has since failed to return to the top four positions at the Marina Bay circuit and retired from the event in 2010 and 2012. Hamilton is aiming to return to the top at next weekend's 61 lap affair. "It's a great place to begin the final flyaway phase of the season," he said of Singapore. "The city is buzzing and the track is mega. It's a street circuit and I love street circuits.
