Mallya cautiously optimistic of strong Singapore showing

Vijay Mallya says he is cautiously optimistic that Force India will enjoy a strong showing at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The Silverstone-based outfit had a mixed Italian Grand Prix last time out at the Monza circuit, with Sergio Perez finishing in seventh and Nico Hulkenberg in 12th. Mallya believes the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the warmer temperatures in Singapore and the softer tyre compounds should play to Force India's advantage. 'I'm cautiously optimistic,' he said.
