Renault will be closer to the front in Singapore than it was at the recent Italian Grand Prix, according to head of track operations Remi Taffin. Mercedes-powered cars locked out the top four positions at the high-speed Monza, with Daniel Ricciardo's fifth place being the best result for a Renault-powered vehicle.
