Double points to be scrapped?

The controversial double points regulation looks set to have a brief stay in Formula 1 with Bernie Ecclestone admitting it could be dropped next season. In an attempt to keep the Championships alive until the final race of the season, the FIA announced that the season finale in Abu Dhabi would be worth double points. However, the move has not gone down well with most people in the paddock and Ecclestone has revealed that it could be scrapped for 2015.
