Vettel: Mechanical problems 'part of life'

Red Bull/Getty Images A philosophical Sebastian Vettel says that mechanical issues are part of racing after he completed just five timed laps during Friday's second practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix. Vettel had edged out Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo during the first session but he suffered an engine failure at the end of the opening 90 minutes and the time it took to change the component meant that his RB10 was only ready with eight minutes remaining of the second session.
