Full radio ban delayed to ensure 'fairness'
he FIA backtracked on its plans to introduce a full radio clampdown in Singapore to ensure "fairness".After announcing that all messages – via radio or pit boards – relating to car or driver performance would be prohibited from the Marina Bay round, the FIA revised the ban to just driver guidance amid fears over safety.The proposed ban on technical- and settings-related information has been delayed until the 2015 season."We felt that this should extend to both car performance and driver related parameters but it became quite clear that some teams would be at a serious disadvantage compared to others, not just in their know-how or ability to react, but also with hardware...
