Nico Rosberg was fastest for most of the session but Alonso went fastest in the Prancing Horse towards the end of practice three on the softer tyres. Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo was second fastest, 0.051 seconds behind the Ferrari driver. After being fastest for the majority of the session Rosberg finished third fastest ahead of Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne.
