Alonso rues timing of Safety Car

– Fernando Alonso was left to rue the timing of the Safety Car as he raced to fourth position in the Singapore Grand Prix.Alonso held second position after stopping for Option tyres early and jumping Sebastian Vettel, but pitted just seven laps later when the Safety Car was deployed following a collision between Sergio Pérez and Adrian Sutil.Ferrari opted to service Alonso for another set of Prime tyres and he dropped to fourth place as a result, from which he was unable to pass either Red Bull driver."With hindsight, it's easy to ask how things would have gone if I hadn't made a mistake at the start and the Safety Car hadn't come out when it did, but overall I'm pleased with...
