Alonso happy with fourth despite losing second place under Safety Car

The Spaniard was running in second place when the safety car came out after Adrian Sutil and Sergio Perez’s incident. Alonso pitted for fresh tyres and dropped back to fourth place and was unable to pass the Red Bull’s to finish on the podium.
