September 22nd 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - The Singapore Grand Prix provided me with two very strong candidates for driver of the day.  Yet again we saw a very strong performance from Lewis Hamilton who was nothing short of dominant. Despite his impressive performance, he isn't either of my candidates though.  The first is Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne, who put in his best performance of the year around the streets of Marina Bay.  Vergne picked up two five second stop-go penalties for exceeding the track limits, which is a bit naughty yes, but the way he pulled out a gap over seventh place towards the end of the race to absorb his second penalty to keep sixth place was...
