+ Fernando Alonso has refused to rule out leaving Ferrari and says his future now lies in the hands of the team. Despite having a contract in place with Ferrari for 2015, Alonso’s future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with the Spaniard linked with a move to McLaren, who are on the hunt for a marquee signing ahead of their reunion with Honda next season. The Spaniard spent one acrimonious year with McLaren in 2007 before leaving, but the team, with the backing of its new engine supplier, are understood to have offered Alonso a blank chequebook in their attempts to capture his signature for 2015.
